Tears For Fears Excites Fans With 2023 North American Tour
Tears For Fears has announced that they will hit the road this year with a North American Tour.
As some of you might know, Tears for Fears is a British band that formed in 1981. They are known for their hit songs such as Everybody Wants to Rule the World, Shout, and Mad World. The band consists of Roland Orzabal and Curt Smith, who both serve as lead vocalists and songwriters.
Focusing on their successes, the band was a major player in the new wave and synth-pop movements of the 1980s. They released their debut album, The Hurting, in 1983, which was a critical and commercial success. Their second album, Songs from the Big Chair, was even more successful, featuring hit singles like Shout and Everybody Wants to Rule the World.
In 2022, Tears For Fears released its first album in 18 years, The Tipping Point, which topped at Top Album Sales, Top Rock Albums, and Top Alternative Albums charts in the United States. They toured all over the United States before heading out to the United Kingdom to support the album.
Recently, Tears For Fears announced a new tour that excited its fans. Named The Tipping Point Tour: Part II, the tour will kick off at Hard Rock Live at Etess Arena in New Jersey on June 23. After playing over 22 shows throughout the United States, the band will conclude its tour at Hollywood Bowl in California on August 2. Cold War Kids will support the tour on all dates.
The band announced the tour, saying: “Announcing The Tipping Point Tour: PART TWO. We’re thrilled to be getting back on the road again – beginning with the US and Canada this Summer with Cold War Kids.”
